Monday Morning Motivation – Resist

(Sharing Resources to Help You Grow Personally, Professionally & Financially)

Sometimes it helps to get a little dose of encouragement — along with a good cup of coffee! — to start the day.

Hopefully the message below will help you get off to a good start for the week.  Please feel free to forward the newsletter on to others that you think would benefit from the content.

Resist

Sometimes we know what we should do.  And yet we find ways to do avoid doing exactly what we know we should.  Often this stems from fear – it is easier to simply muddle along and resist taking the action that we know we should versus facing the challenge that we know we must overcome.

Unfortunately all too often resisting what we know we should do, only postpones the inevitable.  And, in the process, makes things even worse when we finally decide to overcome that which we resist.  That is why it is so important to be aware of what we are resisting.  Only by facing what we are resisting can we get on to doing the things that we should.

With that in mind, my question for you this week is:

  • What are you resisting?

Thanks for sharing a bit of your time with me this Monday morning and I wish you all the best for the week.
