Sharing Resources to Help You Grow Personally, Professionally & Financially
Sometimes it helps to get a little dose of encouragement—along with a good cup of coffee!—to start the day. Today we discuss "choice."
Hopefully the message below will help you get off to a good start for the week. Please feel free to forward the newsletter on to others that you think would benefit from the content.
Each and every one of us possesses the capacity for choice. And each and every one of us exercises that choice through what we do and what we do not do.
Those choices are ours. They come from our capacity of free will. No one makes us do anything. We choose.
Over the past year, we have been pressured to make some of the biggest choices we have likely ever made in our life. The year contained a series of events that was unprecedented in the past. Opinions, passions, and tempers ran high. It was a very trying time for all of us.
In reflecting on the choices that I made, it seems clear to me that the most important of these choices were the ones that surrounded my faith, friends, and family. When I kept these three things at the forefront of my mind, I feel that I chose well. When I let these three things slide to the back of my mind, I don’t feel that I chose as well as I could have.
That brings us to this week’s question:
- What will drive your choices as we go forward in this next year?
Thanks for sharing a bit of your time with me this Monday morning.
Have a great week!
