Sharing Resources to Help You Grow Personally, Professionally & Financially
Sometimes it helps to get a little dose of encouragement—along with a good cup of coffee!—to start the day.
Hopefully the message below will help you get off to a good start for the week. Please feel free to forward the newsletter on to others that you think would benefit from the content.
One of the most challenging questions to answer is “what do you believe?” Whether it is regarding our faith, family, friends, fitness, or finances, each of us holds a certain collection of beliefs that shape how we think, how we feel, and how we act.
When faced with the question of what we believe, it causes us to look inward—first to answer the question and, secondly, to ask WHY we answer this question in the manner that we do.
This process often reveals thought patterns that are irrational and inconsistent with the person we want to be. That leads us to a choice—a choice either to continue on with those thought patterns or to realign them so that they can better guide our feelings and actions. And, in the process, help us to grow personally, professionally, and spiritually.
While this is not an easy exercise, it can be incredibly rewarding and transformational if we are willing to ask this tough question.
That brings us to this week’s question:
- What do you believe?
Thanks for sharing a bit of your time with me this Monday morning.
Have a great week!
