Monday Morning Motivation – Time

(Sharing Resources to Help You Grow Personally, Professionally & Financially)

Sometimes it helps to get a little dose of encouragement — along with a good cup of coffee! — to start the day.

Hopefully the message below will help you get off to a good start for the week.  Please feel free to forward the newsletter on to others that you think would benefit from the content.

Time

Let’s start today with a question:

  • What’s the most important thing to you in your life?

For most of you, the answer is likely going to be “my family” or “my spouse”.  Great!

Now let’s ask a second question:

  • Where did you spend your time last week?

I’m guessing that for many, the answer to this second question in light of the first introduces a bit of discomfort.  Ultimately we speak to others about what is important to us via how we spend our time.  It’s easy to get caught up in the rat race that is life and have time get away from us.  Unfortunately when we fall in to this trap we often neglect those things in life that are the most important to us.

With that in mind, the question for this week is:

  • Where will  you spend your time this week?

Thanks for sharing a bit of your time with me this Monday morning and I wish you all the best for the week.
Curt
