Monday Morning Motivation – Acceptance 2

(Sharing Resources to Help You Grow Personally, Professionally & Financially)

Sometimes it helps to get a little dose of encouragement — along with a good cup of coffee! — to start the day.

Hopefully the message below will help you get off to a good start for the week.  Please feel free to forward the newsletter on to others that you think would benefit from the content.

Acceptance

Back in September of 2015 I took on the topic of acceptance.  The message that Monday was:

  • What are you accepting in your life?

And that’s still IMHO a VERY important question to ask / to contemplate.  We all need to challenge ourselves as to whether we are limiting our potential vis-à-vis accepting things that we have the power to change.

However, there is ANOTHER perspective on acceptance that I want to offer today that builds on last week’s topic of resistance.  The message last week was:

  • What are you resisting?

While there are some things in life that I would offer you should NOT accept and should challenge yourself to look in to alternatives/change, sometimes we get stuck on resisting things we SHOULD accept.

The challenge, of course, is figuring out what you accept and what you change.  That said, today I’d like to challenge you to consider the following:

  • What do you need to accept about your current life situation?

Thanks for sharing a bit of your time with me this Monday morning and I wish you all the best for the week.

Curt
