Monday Morning Motivation – Living

Sharing Resources to Help You Grow Personally, Professionally & Financially

Sometimes it helps to get a little dose of encouragement—along with a good cup of coffee!—to start the day. Today we discuss "living."

Hopefully the message below will help you get off to a good start for the week.  Please feel free to forward the newsletter on to others that you think would benefit from the content.

Living

Living What We Believe

Humility is often talked about, but far less often practiced. It’s easy to admire the idea of humility—much harder to live it out in everyday life.

At its core, humility shows up not in what we say, but in how we live.

There’s a simple thought that captures this well:

We judge ourselves by our intentions, while others judge us by our actions.

When it comes to the way we live, our lives are defined by what we do, not simply by what we intend. We can think deeply, plan carefully, and even convince ourselves that we are on the right path. But until those thoughts turn into action, nothing really changes.

Living is about action.

It’s the way we demonstrate who we are.
It’s how we reveal what we truly believe.
It’s the clearest expression of what we value.

That said, what happens in our minds still matters. Our actions rarely appear out of nowhere—they are shaped by our thoughts and ultimately by what lives in our hearts.

You might think of it like this:

Right actions → reflect right thinking → flow from a healthy heart.

And the opposite is often just as true:

A troubled heart → produces unhealthy thinking → which leads to harmful actions.

In other words, the life we live on the outside is deeply connected to what is happening on the inside.

I don’t claim to have discovered any secret formula for life. But one thing seems clear: our actions are powerful indicators of what we truly believe. They reveal our priorities, our values, and the condition of our hearts.

That brings us to this week’s question:

  • What does the way you are living your life say about what is in your heart?

Thanks for sharing a bit of your time with me this Monday morning

Have a great week!

Curt
