Monday Morning Motivation – Insight
Sharing Resources to Help You Grow Personally, Professionally & Financially
Sometimes it helps to get a little dose of encouragement—along with a good cup of coffee!—to start the day. Today we discuss "Insight".
Hopefully, the message below will help you get off to a good start for the week. Please feel free to forward the newsletter along to others who you think would benefit from the content.

The Power of Insight: Seeing What’s Really There
Some words naturally invite us to dig deeper, and insight is one of them.
Break it apart and you get:
In – something present, something within
Sight – the ability to see
Put together, insight becomes “the ability to see what's really there—within yourself or within a situation.”
Sounds simple. But in reality? Not so much.
If I’m honest, I would love to always have perfect insight into myself—my habits, my blind spots, my tendencies. But like most people, I often struggle to see the things right in front of me. We all have blind spots, and those blind spots can lead to mistakes, missteps, or moments we’re not proud of.
That’s why I lean on something powerful:
the insight of others.
I intentionally surround myself with people who are skilled at observing, understanding, and compassionately speaking truth. People who can see what I sometimes cannot—and who are courageous enough to share it with me.
Is it always easy to hear their perspective?
Not at all.
Is it helpful?
Absolutely.
Do I always act on it immediately?
Let’s just say… growth is a process!
That brings me to this week’s question:
- Are you relying on the insight of others to avoid making costly mistakes in your life?
Thanks for sharing a bit of your time with me this Monday morning.
Have a great week!
