Monday Morning Motivation – Solution
Sharing Resources to Help You Grow Personally, Professionally & Financially
Sometimes it helps to get a little dose of encouragement—along with a good cup of coffee!—to start the day. Today we discuss "solution."
Hopefully the message below will help you get off to a good start for the week. Please feel free to forward the newsletter on to others that you think would benefit from the content.
Solution
Last week, I posed a simple but powerful question:
Can you fully define the biggest problem you’re facing right now?
Taking the time to clearly identify a problem is absolutely essential. Yet, for many people, it’s also where progress stops. We get stuck—mentally replaying the issue, analyzing it from every angle, and unknowingly anchoring ourselves to it.
While fully understanding the problem is a necessary first step, it’s not the destination.
The real shift happens when focus moves from the problem to the solution.
That transition isn’t always easy. Some problems are deeply complex. Others may not have clear or immediate solutions. And none of this minimizes how real, painful, or overwhelming certain challenges can be.
But once a problem is clearly defined, continuing to dwell on it rarely moves you forward.
Progress begins when your energy shifts—from asking why this is happening to asking what can I do next. From replaying the problem to intentionally exploring solutions, even small ones.
You don’t have to solve everything at once.
You just have to stop letting the problem be the center of your focus.
Because the moment your attention moves toward solutions, you begin putting the problem behind you.
That brings us to this week’s question:
- Are you focused on the problem or the solution?
Thanks for sharing a bit of your time with me this Monday morning.
Have a great week!
