At the end of last quarter (June 30th) and we saw the S&P hit a new high of 6204.  That was a 25% INCREASE from the April 8 bottom.  And just shy of a 6% increase since January 2.  Everyone was “all in” on the market and convinced that all is right with the world.

September 30 was not QUITE an NEW all time high, but October 1 was at 6665.  Now if you read the news you would NOT think this was the case.  We had debates ad nauseum on the Fed Rate, we had on-again, off-again tariff’s, we had the OBBB, and numerous other changes that had many people very nervous and very uncomfortable.

But – broken record here! – I’m writing the IDENTICAL thing this quarter that I did LAST quarter.

• Keeping a long term perspective is CRITICAL to ensuring we do NOT “jump ship” when everyone is screaming “fire”!  I am confident that this “crisis du jour” will pass.  

And don’t be surprised if I repeat the next quarter.  And the next.  And the next.  See a pattern?  I certainly hope so!!!
