Monday Morning Motivation – Humor

Sharing Resources to Help You Grow Personally, Professionally & Financially

Sometimes it helps to get a little dose of encouragement—along with a good cup of coffee!—to start the day. Today we discuss "humor."

Hopefully, the message below will help you get off to a good start for the week. Please feel free to forward the newsletter along to others who you think would benefit from the content.

Humor

They say laughter is the best medicine. I could not agree more. And I am guessing that most folks reading this would agree.

And yet most of us laugh way, way too little.

For the last five weeks, we have shared our home with five additional cats: a young mother and her four babies that started at three weeks and are now eight weeks old. And they have brought tons of laughter into our life!

Watching these little critters grow, play, and explore has brought more smiles to my face than you can imagine. They have reminded me of just how important it is to find ways to interject humor into your life. And, trust me, four rambunctious kittens provide plenty of humor in your life!

Humor does not cost anything. It simply requires that you look for the fun, less serious side of life. Easy to say, but hard to do. That’s because we are all too often NOT intentional about pursuing the lighter side of life. And that is a shame—as when we are in good humor, we are healthier and happier.

And health and happiness are two of the most valuable things that we possess.

That brings us to this week’s question:

  • Could you benefit from having more humor in your life?

Thanks for sharing a bit of your time with me this Monday morning

Have a great week!

Curt
