Monday Morning Motivation – Build

(Sharing Resources to Help You Grow Personally, Professionally & Financially)

Sometimes it helps to get a little dose of encouragement — along with a good cup of coffee! — to start the day.

Hopefully the message below will help you get off to a good start for the week.  Please feel free to forward the newsletter on to others that you think would benefit from the content.

Build

Today we are going to go back to our childhood and call on the memory of the three little pigs.  In case you forgot the story, the three pigs built their respective homes out of straw, twigs, and bricks respectively.

When the big bad wolf showed up, the houses built out of straw and twigs didn’t hold up so well to the big winds of his huffing and puffing.  Conversely, the pig that had the foresight to build his home out of bricks.

When it comes to life it is important to realize that just like the pigs and their homes, the important things in life –like your relationships – need to be built on a solid foundation.  If not, when the big bad wolf comes along, the associated winds can create havoc.

That brings us to our question for this week:

  • What have you used to build the important things in your life?

Thanks for sharing a bit of your time with me this Monday morning and I wish you all the best for the week.
