Monday Morning Motivation – Climbing

(Sharing Resources to Help You Grow Personally, Professionally & Financially)

Sometimes it helps to get a little dose of encouragement — along with a good cup of coffee! — to start the day.

Hopefully the message below will help you get off to a good start for the week.  Please feel free to forward the newsletter on to others that you think would benefit from the content.

Climbing

Today’s topic is going to be short and sweet….

The image of standing upon the peak of a mountain is one that is often used and is almost universally synonymous with success and achievement.

We are exposed to the language associated with “climbing” repeatedly:

  • We’re climbing the corporate ladder
  • He’s on top of his game
  • We’re looking to be to top company
  • They’re looking to scale that business

What is curious is how RARELY hear the language associated with how we pursue our relationships with our faith, our friends and family, and our fitness.

Which leads us to the question for today:

  • Are you climbing the right mountains?

Thanks for sharing a bit of your time with me this Monday morning and I wish you all the best for the week.
Curt
