Monday Morning Motivation – Miracles

Sharing Resources to Help You Grow Personally, Professionally & Financially

Sometimes it helps to get a little dose of encouragement—along with a good cup of coffee!—to start the day. Today we discuss "kind"

Hopefully, the message below will help you get off to a good start for the week. Please feel free to forward the newsletter along to others who you think would benefit from the content.

Miracles

Over the past couple of years, I have come to look at things a bit differently when it comes to miracles. Previously when I heard the word “miracle,” my mind went to something akin to God parting the Red Sea. Big. Bold. Impressive.

What I have come to realize is that there are many, many things that happen each day that are beyond my ability to understand. I have come to believe that each of these things is a miracle. And, as I have started to take the time to watch for these things, my faith has grown that there is a God, and that He does amazing things.

As I’m a concrete, left brain kind of guy, I feel that I must enumerate some of what I have observed:

  • A text from my kids that causes my attitude to change/lights up my day
  • A touch from my wife that suddenly makes what I was worrying about go away
  • A call from a friend in need that touches my heart and makes me feel pain
  • A bass that is tail walking across the lake at daybreak having taken a buzzbait

All of these “little things” are nothing short of miraculous. That I can observe them, be part of them, and feel them is proof to me that there is a God. And it seems to me that He has placed miracles all around us for our viewing pleasure. If we only take the time to look.

That brings us to this week’s question:

  • Are you taking the time to notice the little miracles around you?

Thanks for sharing a bit of your time with me this Monday morning.

Have a great week!

Curt
