Monday Morning Motivation – Next

(Sharing Resources to Help You Grow Personally, Professionally & Financially)

Sometimes it helps to get a little dose of encouragement — along with a good cup of coffee! — to start the day.

Hopefully the message below will help you get off to a good start for the week.  Please feel free to forward the newsletter on to others that you think would benefit from the content.

A couple of months back I wrote about the importance of being Present.  The question that week was:

  • Are you willing to be present and aware as you interact with others this week?

That’s still a great question and one that I hope that everyone who reads this contemplates.  However, there’s a yin to this yang….

To experience and enjoy life you MUST be present in the moment.  However, you must at the same time have some idea of where you would like to go next.  As they say if you don’t know your destination, any road will get you there.

Looking at what is next in your life is incredibly important.  It’s something that we each need to consider.  We need to factor in our physical, mental and social well-being as we look towards the future.  Sometimes this means facing tough realities – realities that tell us we need to make improvement/changes in one, two or all three of these dimensions.

As we move in to the last couple of weeks of 2015, I’d like to challenge you to think a bit about the following:

  • Where do I want to go next in life?

Thanks for sharing a bit of your time with me this Monday morning and I wish you all the best for the week.
