Monday Morning Motivation – Peace
(Sharing Resources to Help You Grow Personally, Professionally & Financially)
Sometimes it helps to get a little dose of encouragement — along with a good cup of coffee! — to start the day.
Hopefully the message below will help you get off to a good start for the week. Please feel free to forward the newsletter on to others that you think would benefit from the content.
Peace
Bear with me this week as I’m going to tread a bit on potentially sensitive ground to start this week’s Monday Morning Motivation…
- Don’t you just love listening to the Miss America pageant when the contestants speak about their desire for world peace?
Our pageant contestants are normally speaking about the absence of war and the harm to individuals around the world; however, I would suggest that that looking at peace from a more personal perspective might be a better place to focus when considering the topic of peace.
I would offer that on a personal level, peace is the sense of fulfillment you get when you have alignment between your actions with your purpose. The reason that many people LACK peace on the personal level is that they are unclear in regards to either their purpose or their actions are inconsistent with their purpose. Either of these issues causes a dissonance in the mind.
That brings us to this week’s question:
- Do you have clarity of purpose, consistency of action and peace of mind?
Thanks for sharing a bit of your time with me this Monday morning and I wish you all the best for the week.
