Monday Morning Motivation – Results
(Sharing Resources to Help You Grow Personally, Professionally & Financially)
Sometimes it helps to get a little dose of encouragement — along with a good cup of coffee! — to start the day. Hopefully the message below will help you get off to a good start for the week. Please feel free to forward the newsletter on to others that you think would benefit from the content.
Results
It’s a familiar refrain:
- That guy gets results!
And we all LOVE to hear folks say that about us! However, all too often “getting the results” takes a backseat to other things. Things like:
- Focusing on the PEOPLE affected by the results
- Focusing on the SUSTAINABILITY of the results
- Focusing on the OPPORTUNITY COSTS of the results
- Focusing on what WASN’T DONE because of the results
Don’t get me wrong, results are absolutely critical. But what is equally critical is the who, what, where, when, how and why associated with the results. Looking at the results in isolation can sometimes lead to a distorted picture of the true outcome. And unfortunately in today’s fast paced society, the immediate versus the long term impact of the results is often valued disproportionally. That brings us to the question for this week:
- How do “who”, “what, “what”, “where”, “when”, “how” and “why” factor in to the results you are delivering?
Thanks for sharing a bit of your time with me this Monday morning and I wish you all the best for the week. Curt

We make sure that they have the financial freedom to enjoy those things in life that are important to them. And while we believe the left-brain facts and data are critical; we work with our clients to get them in the right state of mind to focus on the goals they want to achieve.
