New Year, New Market Highs

For the past THREE YEARS I have repeatedly gotten the question “Do you think the market is too high?”; to which I have repeatedly responded: “What makes you think it is too high?”.

I then go on to share that there are two things that I believe when it comes to the market:

* 20 years from now there will be more people on this earth
* 20 years from now the world economy will be bigger

Most people immediately agree with me on these two things. That leads me to ask them, “Then why are you worried about investing if your time horizon is 20 years?” I get A LOT of sheepish looks at this point in time!

Folks, it has been proven time and time again YOU CANNOT TIME THE MARKET.

The attached article offers a fact that you can take to the bank:

* Every day stocks have a positive expected return regardless of whether markets are at an all‑time high or not.
