Monday Morning Motivation – Start

(Sharing Resources to Help You Grow Personally, Professionally & Financially)

Sometimes it helps to get a little dose of encouragement — along with a good cup of coffee! — to start the day.

Hopefully the message below will help you get off to a good start for the week.  Please feel free to forward the newsletter on to others that you think would benefit from the content.

Start

It is SO easy to put things off for one more day.  And then the one more turns to a week, and then a month, and then a year, and then….

If you are like most people you have more than a few “would like to have’s” hanging around in the back of your mind.  Those things that you would like to have done more of:

  • Time with the kids
  • Exercise
  • Writing
  • Reading
  • And….

And yet it always seems so hard to start doing any of these things?  Why is that?  My hypothesis is that it’s because we believe that there will be time tomorrow.  Here’s a hint folks, tomorrow comes WAY too fast!  My favorite quote from Jim Rohn addresses this topic SO well:

  • We must all live with one of two pains. The pain of discipline or the pain of regret.

With the above in mind, my question for you this week is:

  • What do you need to start today?

Thanks for sharing a bit of your time with me this Monday morning and I wish you all the best for the week.
