Will you be bold enough to stand for what you believe in and put yourself at risk?

Monday Morning Motivation – Bold

Sharing Resources to Help You Grow Personally, Professionally & Financially

Sometimes it helps to get a little dose of encouragement—along with a good cup of coffee!—to start the day. Today we discuss "bold."

Hopefully, the message below will help you get off to a good start for the week. Please feel free to forward the newsletter along to others who you think would benefit from the content.

Bold

Bold is one of those words that hits you right between the eyes. It carries with it the connotation of someone who has strong principles and is willing to put them on display for the entire world to see.

How sad it is that, in today’s world of political correctness, it has become unacceptable to be bold on the topics that matter to us. Instead, we have devolved into a world where we have to tread cautiously on each and every topic for fear of offending.

We each have things that we hold near and dear to our own hearts. They could involve our feelings about race, gender, particular rights, family, or faith. Some of us will be bold enough to stand in public for these feelings. And those that are doing so will be challenged.

It has ALWAYS been the case that those that stand for what they believe will be subject to consequences. It was so with the early followers of Christ, it was so with the founding fathers of the USA, it was so with the women who stand for equality, it was so for the Black people who stand to end discrimination.

All of these people were/are bold. All of these people have suffered consequences. And all of these people have have made a difference in the world.

That brings us to this week’s question:

  • Will you be bold enough to stand for what you believe in and put yourself at risk?

Thanks for sharing a bit of your time with me this Monday morning

Have a great week!

Curt
