Monday Morning Motivation – Understand

Sharing Resources to Help You Grow Personally, Professionally & Financially
Sometimes it helps to get a little dose of encouragement—along with a good cup of coffee!—to start the day.
Hopefully the message below will help you get off to a good start for the week. Please feel free to forward the newsletter on to others that you think would benefit from the content.
Confession time—I like to do things MY way. That is why I hate the question “How’s that working out for you?” as MY way often is NOT the best way!!!!
None of us lives in a vacuum. We all have hundreds of people that we come in contact with, and each of them has their own set of challenges that they are facing. They each have their own preferred way of doing things.
We can go about life ignoring others—which is a very lonely existence—or we can spend the time to understand the journey that others are on in their lives. To understand their hopes and dreams, successes and failures, joys and challenges.
In my opinion, if we embrace the concept of seeking to understand what makes others tick, we are going to end up in a much better place personally, professionally, and spiritually.
That brings us to this week’s question:
- Are you doing all you can to understand others' perspectives and situations?
Thanks for sharing a bit of your time with me this Monday morning.
Have a great week!
About MMM: Each week I publish “Monday Morning Motivation” in the hopes that at least one person will find a bit of inspiration and that this inspiration will have a positive impact on their life. My motivation comes from experiences, reading, sermons, and discussions.
