Sharing Resources to Help You Grow Personally, Professionally & Financially
Sometimes it helps to get a little dose of encouragement—along with a good cup of coffee!—to start the day. Today we discuss "development."
Hopefully the message below will help you get off to a good start for the week. Please feel free to forward the newsletter on to others that you think would benefit from the content.
Today’s the final MMM of 2020. Back in 2014 I bought the web domain “learninggrowingliving.com.” It’s still out there, but I have not published anything new ON that domain since 2014. However, my experiment with that website led me to the idea of “Monday Morning Motivation,” and on January 19, 2015, I published my first MMM. With this post today, I’ll be at 259 straight weeks!
Massive change and massive development
Over that time, I have undergone massive change and massive development personally, professionally, and spiritually. When I started, I did NOT know where I would be today. However, I did know that:
- I loved to learn new things.
- I needed to continue to grow as an individual.
- I wanted to understand more about the purpose of life.
“I started writing to help with my personal development.”
So, I started writing to help with my personal development. It has NOT been easy. But it has been extremely helpful to me to spend a bit of time each week thinking about where I am and where I would like to go. While I often fail to achieve my goals, I am ALWAYS looking at ways to develop. To my mind, we need to continually exercise our minds and bodies as a way to honor and glorify God. Therefore, personal development is continually at the forefront of my mind. For me, it allows me to live an amazing life.
That brings us to this week’s question:
- How will you develop personally, professionally, and spiritually during 2020?
Thanks for sharing a bit of your time with me this Monday morning.
Have a great week!
About MMM: Each week I publish “Monday Morning Motivation” in the hopes that at least one person will find a bit of inspiration and that this inspiration will have a positive impact on their life. My motivation comes from experiences, reading, sermons, and discussions.
