Sharing Resources to Help You Grow Personally, Professionally & Financially
Sometimes it helps to get a little dose of encouragement—along with a good cup of coffee!—to start the day.
Hopefully the message below will help you get off to a good start for the week. Please feel free to forward the newsletter on to others that you think would benefit from the content.
By nature, I am an optimist and a “the glass is half full” sort of person.
Sometimes that gets me into trouble, as I only see the positive outcomes and jump right in without regard to the potential consequences. However, even in most of those situations, I find that good things happen by stretching my comfort zone.
However, I do struggle with expectations as to how long things will take. This dichotomy of “overestimating” the impact and “underestimating” the required time can drive those around me nuts. (I’m NOT saying my wife is crazy—I am saying that I can DRIVE her crazy!)
To me, it’s always—I am intentionally choosing an extreme word! — worth taking the risk to experience new things in life. Only through taking those risks will we be able to achieve what God has put us on this Earth to accomplish. Sometimes this can be scary. However, the experience is worth it in my opinion.
That brings us to this week’s question:
- Are you underestimating what you are capable of achieving?
Thanks for sharing a bit of your time with me this Monday morning.
Have a great week!
About MMM: Each week I publish “Monday Morning Motivation” in the hopes that at least one person will find a bit of inspiration and that this inspiration will have a positive impact on their life. My motivation comes from experiences, reading, sermons, and discussions.
