Towards
A lot of times when you get into a conversation with people, they are prone to tell you about all of the undesirable things in their lives. They enumerate all of the things in their lives that they want to move away from.
While there is no doubt that life has its challenges, I find that it is a lot more productive to drive looking forward versus looking backwards. Put another way, I like to focus on moving TOWARDS my goals—personally, professionally, and spiritually. In my experience, focusing on “towards versus away” pays MUCH better dividends.
That brings us to this week’s question:
- Are you moving towards something or away from something?
