Hope
In 1732 Alexander Pope wrote:
Hope springs eternal in the human breast;
Man never Is, but always to be blest.
The soul, uneasy, and confin'd from home,
Rests and expatiates in a life to come.
No matter how bad things get in our lives, if we have hope, it all seems manageable. Perhaps even more importantly, when we PROVIDE hope to others, it makes their lives seem more manageable.
Whether the focus is personal, professional, or spiritual, offering hope to others is a wonderful gift that we can—and should—provide to others.
That brings us to this week’s question:
- Are you providing hope to others each and every day?
